Another Attempt at Writing Right-Handed 2/9/2011

So, it is actually getting a little bit easier to hold the pen properly, without it feeling terribly awkward.  I, also, realized that the muscles in my right hand will start to hurt if I write too much, after just one page of writing! As if they are not used to the motion yet, so it is almost like physical therapy in a way.  Once I get them used to it, I think I will be in business!  I can already tell an improvement.

Had to add this to my blog - extremely beautiful

"On the girl's brown legs there were many small white scars.  I was thinking, Do those scars cover the whole of you, like the stars and the moons on your dress?  I thought that would be pretty too, and I ask you right here please to agree with me that a scar is never ugly.  That is what the scar makers want us to think.  But you and I, we must make an agreement to defy them.  We must see all scars as beauty.  Okay?  This will be our secret.  Because take it from me, a scar does not form on the dying.  A scar means, I survived." - Chris Cleave, author of Little Bee.

3rd attempt: writing right-handed

Not much improvement.  I have decided to go through the alphabet now and practice each letter separately.  Thinking about it last night made me realize how handy it just might be to be able to write perfectly with each hand.  I need to research the brain hemispheres...

Second Attempt to Write Right-handed.

I am not sure how I will prove if my IQ raises....hmmm...well, right now I have about a 3.4 GPA, sooo if that raises any, then I may know.  I could possibly take a few online IQ tests, as well.  Or maybe I will just FEEL more smart. lol.  We will see. I will keep practicing, and show some more examples tomorrow!

FIRST TIME WRITING WITH MY RIGHT HAND.

REEEEALLLLY not as bad as I was expecting it to look.  It does look like my little cousin's handwriting, though.  More practice!  It cannot be that hard right? : /

Couldn't get on Oprah, so I decided to blog.

I am new to this blogging thing, and I am sure I am the only one that will visit my blog site, but I have this crazy experiment I want to try and blogging seems like a good way to sort of keep track of it, almost like a "journal," so I can go back and see my results whenever I want.  Anyway, my crazy experiment/idea is to learn to write with my right hand.  Sounds crazy, BUT, they say that when left-handed you typically use the right hemisphere of your brain.  If this is true, what if I am able to use both hands, for everything?  Does that mean I will be able to use both hemispheres?  I want to start out by learning to write with my right hand (since I am a lefty), then move on to eating and such and see what happens.  I really have no idea how long this is going to take because my writing probably did not reach it's full potential until probably middle school or high school.  SOOO, this may take some time, but I am excited to see what happens.  If I feel any smarter....then I suggest schools do this for all their kids.  It does not really make sense to me, why at a young age, we decide we are left-handed or right-handed and stick with it all of our lives.  So, let the experiment begin.  I will post pictures of my writing every now and then to show if there is any improvement...and maybe even an IQ test every month or so would be a good idea... hmm...

Lil' Somethins About Me

Let's see, I am 24 years old, going through a quarter-life crisis of self definition, I think.  I am the complete astrological meaning of a Gemini.  I enjoy doing absolutely nothing, most of the time.  Sitting at home, watching movies, writing, and playing video games are always at the top of my list.  However, grabbing a few too many drinks with my friends is always a good time, sparingly, of course.  I was studying Psychology, with a focus in Parapsychology, but I really do not feel like going to school for 8 years, so I think I may focus my attention on video game design; it will be a rough world out there for a woman, but I am up for the challenge ;)  I am a very loyal and family-oriented person.  A little too loyal at times because some people just can't return the darn favor.  I am writing a TERRIBLE book, I know it's terrible, but it's kind of fun to pretend that I am in a whole different world/lifestyle for a little bit; I am actually about a third of the way done and there are some very amazing parts in it, but all-in-all it's sorta drab.  I am Italian and I would DIE to be on the Jersey Shore and party it up, but doing commercials and anything else similar to that that comes along with it, just isn't my thing.  I would personally rather focus on writing and other artistic things.  I live in a pretty big city, it's in the top 15, but it's too darn cold here during the winter.  My plan is to move somewhere beautiful all year around.  Well, this is enough for one night, see ya tomorrow!
